Alexandru Pepene is an abstract painter working and living in Denmark. He has developed his techniques over the years during which he is continuously striving to create something beautiful that is never boring and will keep the viewer engaged long after it is hung on a wall.

His abstract paintings are the result of a translation of emotions through an encounter with color and form.  

Alex creates each work with no preconceived outcome in mind, preferring to let the technique guide him in creating complex paintings.

Working primarily with acrylics Alex’s abstract style allows the viewer to experience the artwork through the bold color combinations, brush strokes, and other gestural techniques
